it’s about time.

thought i’d get these up before it’s too late! wanted to make sure to record our memories of the best christmas season ever…

j experienced snow for the first time at our church tree lighting. perhaps next year we’ll take him to see the real thing?

our tree in the wee hours of christmas morning…

the basketball hoop was too big for santa to leave inside, so he left a special note for j with instructions to go to the backyard. boy, was he excited…

since i can’t show you a picture of s (yet) here’s a picture of the ornament my sis-in-law, alice, gave us. this baby is the spitting image of our little one!

new year’s eve was spent having dinner with the kids at cheesecake factory (where we had gift cards), then celebrations at home with sparkling cider and champagne.

what a blessing it was to spend two weeks at home with our little ones. andrew and i feel so lucky to both have the time off that we do! this year i didn’t really  make any resolutions, per se, but i have been trying to let go of certain things, such as trying to have the house clean all the time and having to make my pictures perfect for the blog. i hope to get back into a regular blogging routine now that the holidays are over and we have a regular life routine going. s started daycare, which was really, really hard, but they love her and i know that she is in good hands. i am kind of counting down the days until our next vacation, which is really, really bad, but i can’t wait to spend my days with both my little ones again!
