there are about a million recipes out there. for some weird reason bloggers like to make granola, i guess?
if you’re going to experiment this is the thing to make. i kind of just throw some things together and voila.
we (including the little guy) love granola on yogurt, and i like to just snack on it, too.
4 cups old-fashioned oats (you can buy gluten free oats, too, if you like)
1 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup flax seed
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon
3 tablespoons vanilla
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup oil (i like to use coconut oil)
1/4 cup honey
1 cup chopped nuts
mix all ingredients in a big bowl. spread onto a lined pan. bake at 300 degrees for 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. after completely cooled store in an airtight container.
