blog interrupted.

life got in the way since early november…work, errands, pre-holidays preparation, etc., etc. and then….

we got “the call” and the most amazing little bundle of joy came into our life. s, as i’ll call her here, was born last thursday, 7 pounds 1 ounce, 19 inches long. the very next day we were asked to be her parents. one day later we visited her and held her for the first time, and then on sunday she came home with us. we are over the moon. i’ll be back when i come out of this babymoon haze.

i feel beyond blessed right now…

glasses.

i do not remember how long i have had these glasses. all i remember is that i saw a post on apartment therapy about duralex glasses, and once they were available at cost plus (world market?) i ran out to buy them. they are one of the best investments i’ve made. they have been dropped countless times and no breakage!
